Guided visits
Guided visits are possible for groups of 15 or more. There are several formulas for groups, including a visit to the private saloons of the count and countess.
Click here to have a look at the different formulas.
For a customized visit, you can contact Jelle Deltombe.
School
Planning a visit with your school? Please contact Jelle Deltombe in advance.
There is a special rate for school groups: € 4 per pupil. Supervisors can come along for free. There must be at least one supervisor per 10 pupils.
Fascinating themes are possible for both primary and secondary schools. Invite Anselm Adornes as your guide in the 15th Century…
Accessibility
Most of the estate is accessible to wheelchair users. It is best to be accompanied and to inform the reception in advance to prepare alternative accesses.
However, in a listed medieval estate like this, the possibilities for adaptation are limited. Some doors are too narrow for a wheelchair to pass through and the cobblestones of the courtyard are not very comfortable.
Courtesy, respect, privacy and protection of heritage are important values for us.
Thank you for respecting some house rules:
No smoking
No eating or drinking (with the exception of drinks and snacks purchased and consumed in the Scottish Lounge).
No photography inside the buildings.
Speak softly and put your phone on mute. The peace and quiet of the estate is precious!
Pets are not allowed.
Backpacks, umbrellas and other large objects must be left at reception.
Holy mass
You can join a holy mass every Saturday at 9 am in the Jerusalem Chapel. It can also be rented for baptisms in intimate circles for a small contribution of the costs. For more information, contact Jelle Deltombe.
